Buying a used car?
At INSPECT MY VEHICLE we conduct a thorough pre-purchase vehicle inspection / examination of a used vehicle which is conducted by a qualified and licensed professional before a potential buyer finalises a purchase. These inspections aim to identify any existing issues or potential problems with the vehicle, providing the buyer with a comprehensive understanding of its condition.
Here’s some information about what is included in our pre-purchase vehicle inspections:
Engine/Motor
A diagnostic scan tool is connected to the vehicle to detect any fault codes and an operational check on the vehicles drive train.
Interior
Operational checks on lights, windows, wipers, air conditioning/heating, safety systems, door looks, seat belts and seats, horn and many more
Accident Damage
A paint thickness gauge is used to check for previous repairs and a visual inspection for hail, flood or accident damage.
Exterior/Under body
A visual inspection of all panels, wheels, steering and suspension and any previous repairs or future repairs needed.
Vehicle History Check
A government check which indicates if the vehicle is recorded as stolen, written off or has money owing.
Road Test
An operational inspection of the vehicles braking, steering, engine and transmission system.
